Testimonials from previous LATC Programs

As an entertainment lawyer in Colombia it’s essential for me to gain up-to-date information on trends in the US legal system and business environment, to meet with colleagues abroad, and to create collaborations. My professional experience with the LATC US audiovisual industry program in Los Angeles was terrific, and I am sure the Miami program will offer additional insights into the legal aspects of the industry, especially the concepts of fair use and licensing.

Patricia Renjifo

Senior Partner, Ley en Movimiento - COLOMBIA

As the only participant from New Zealand in the 2015 LATC US Film Industry Program in Los Angeles, I was honored to represent my country. It was a highly rewarding personal and professional experience which yielded concrete results for my film projects, and also generated multiple contacts through networking with industry professionals in the American Film Market, and well as in our own LATC group. I congratulate LATC on the initiative in Miami! Gabriel Ride

Director, Pageant Films - NEW ZEALAND

LATC created a unique program on the US audiovisual industry in L.A., in which I participated several years ago, and the BNDES has regularly enrolled members of its staff from the Culture, Entertainment and Tourism Dept. in the program. The new program in Miami will offer a different focus on legal and business affairs, and will surely contribute to the advancement of professionals and the entertainment sector in Brazil and the region general.

Luciane Gorgulho

Head of Culture, Entertainment & Tourism Dept., Brazilian National Development Bank - BNDES - BRAZIL

I’m glad to recommend this new, great conference that will be in Miami about entertainment. It will surely be as interesting and useful as the LATC Program in Los Angeles. Because the high level of speakers and great LATC coordination, I’m already planning to be there in Miami!

Jaime R. Angeles

Partner, AngelesPons - Attorneys at Laws - DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Having participated in the LATC Program in Los Angeles some years ago, as well as co-sponsored several LATC books though my law firm, I’m pleased to see the new expansion of LATC programs to the east coast of the US, and a program which meets the demands of entertainment lawyers in Latin America to upgrade their expertise. We look forward to participating.

Fabio Cesnik

Partner, Cesnik, Quintino e Salinas Advogados - BRAZIL

I am very impressed with the LATC programs in which I participated, both the Film Business School and two editions of the Los Angeles Intensive Industry Program. These programs had an important influence on my career and orientation of my company.

Producer, Director and Writer, Ligocki Entertainment - BRAZIL
